You are not ringing from Nationwide Building Society, because yesterday you were ringing from NPower and the day before that, you were calling from British Gas.

You do not need to know whether I do or don’t bank with Nationwide (I don’t) or if my gas comes from NPower or British Gas (it doesn’t).

You instigated the call, not me.

Please don’t mind then if I put you on hold while I return to my busy life.
