I'm a Mother not a Martyr…

I have so many balls in the air that I feel like I could be a member of Barnum’s circus!

My main website is right in the cusp of being relaunched.  Just a few more tweaks to go…

My portfolio website as a makeup artist is desperately in need of an update (last time I did it, I only had 2 children!) And though I have the words and images, finding time is proving difficult.

Proofing images for the Christmas gift guides on MAF is taking longer than expected!

Having a handmade Christmas this year sounded good in theory…. it’s fun but time consuming.

Oliver is at that perfect age where I can do precisely nothing without his assistance…

Washing usually means the inclusion of one or more toy bricks in the machine while my back is turned.

He has bat ears as far as the dishwasher door is concerned.  He comes running when he hears the click of the door opening.

Getting in the office is impossible as he has helpfully squodged lipsticks and spilled moisturiser before now.

Even using a laptop isn’t optional, as he likes to wallop the keyboard.

Working when he has his afternoon sleep isn’t possible now as I seem to spend those 2.5 hours doing all the things I’ve not been able to do earlier!

However, I’ve grabbed 10 mins to have a coffee while he watches Little Einsteins.

To an adult, possibly the most repetitively annoying program in tv.

To a child who loves to dance, heaven in televisual format!

(He’s not that close to the tv, it’s how the picture has come out!)
