I'm a Mother not a Martyr…

Happy New Year!

Well 2012 was a funny old year, with more downs than ups unfortunately, but I’m being positive about 2013.

I’m not one for making resolutions, but I do like to have plans in mind for things I want to do and achieve.

Getting to bed earlier when Chris is on nights is one. His shift pattern plays havoc with my body clock!

Setting aside dedicated days/evenings to work but also schedule in downtime to indulge in my craft hobby.

Make time for social networking more so that I don’t go through such deep peaks and troughs.

I also plan to properly sort out the children’s playroom so that all 4 boys have their own ‘zone’ in there.

I’d like some shelving in my understairs cupboard to house my craft projects.

I’d love to redecorate the lounge this year, so my work incentive is that! To be the one who pays for it all.

Laminate flooring throughout would be nice. Another incentive?

I want to have a fun goal each month. I don’t get depressed as such, after Christmas, but it does feel a bit low in january, and having something to look forward to each month should be a good thing. (Inspiration anyone?)

I want to find some craft fayres around north Wales and the north west. My altered art products proved popular at the 2 small school fayres I did, and I made a rather good profit, so I fancy returning to the fayre network. Unfortunately it’s been 8 years since I was a regular, so its back to square one!

So there are lots of things I want to do this year.

What about you?

X
